I am a cat owner and lover for over 20 years. On July 26, 2017, I officially became a “foster mom” and picked up two feral kittens and one semi-feral adult female cat. I was hooked and now I can’t imagine my life without foster kittens! Currently I am a foster mom and volunteer for the Kitty Queen Cat Rescue and Lounge in Pittsburgh, PA.  I foster kittens for Kitty Queen, volunteer at the Lounge where I clean the place and care for the kittens. I also help with their fundraisers, social media, I post cats that are ready for adoption on the AdoptAPet site for them, and anything else that is needed at the Lounge or for the Rescue that I can do. They are an awesome new rescue and I couldn’t be prouder to volunteer for them!

During kitten season and other busy times during the year, I will take in foster kittens for Beaver County Humane Society. I also have in the past worked with Homeless Cat Management Team in Pittsburgh to trap feral cats and get them into the TNR (trap, neuter, return) program. I don’t trap much anymore due to health issues unfortunately.

I am passionate about educating people to spay and neuter their pets, and for people to participate in the TNR program versus the “catch and kill” program to deal with feral cats in their neighborhood. I created this blog to tell the stories of my foster cats and kittens, help other fosters, and educate people on the plight of feral cats and kittens.
